1
As per the policy, students who are studying in Class V are eligible to apply for admission to Class VI. However, the students who are in Class VI also appear for admission to Class VI. Whether such students are allowed to be admitted in EMRS?
+
As per the policy, if a student is studying in higher class than class V, he/she is not eligible to apply for admission to Class VI.
2
After passing Class X, some candidates do not attend formal classes but apply for admission to Class XI after a break of one or two years. Are they eligible for admission?

4
If a student is issued TC on request of the parent due to personal reasons, and later, if the parent approaches EMRS for withdrawing the TC issued and to allow to continue to study, whether it is allowed?
+
Before issuing TC, all efforts are to be made to counsel the students and parents to continue his/her education in EMRS. All efforts should be made to retain the students. If parents insist even then, on taking TC, an undertaking should be taken stating that they would not seek admission again in the same class in the same school. Once TC is issued on request, allowing to continue the education is not feasible.
5
Is it necessary to have science, humanities and commerce streams in every EMRS?
+
As per the policy, every EMRS should have all the three streams i.e. Science, Humanities and Commerce at senior secondary level. However, Choice of the subjects / Stream is to be considered as per the willingness of the students/parents. Forcing a student to study in a particular stream by the school is not correct. Streams are to be allotted as per the willingness expressed by the student/parent. As per the policy of NESTS, 90 students are to be admitted in Class XI. If more students are willing to study in a particular stream than 30, opening of second section of the same stream may be considered. With regard to combination of the streams, depending upon the interest of the students, number of sections/streams may be decided. It should be ensured that no student who are passed out from Class X of EMRS is denied admission in Class XI. All the efforts are to be made to ensure study of 90 students at Senior Secondary classes.
6
If the number of students opting for science is 35/40, whether all the students may be admitted in Science Stream with the condition that the total number of students in Class XI does not exceed 90?
+
In such cases, maximum of 40 students may be admitted in Science stream. If more students opt for Science Stream, opening of second section of science stream may be considered.
