YOUTH PARLIAMENT at emrs mangala

          EMRS Mangala successfully organized a Youth Gram Sabha with great enthusiasm to promote democratic values, civic responsibility, and leadership among students. The programme aimed to familiarize students with the functioning of the Gram Sabha and the Panchayati Raj system through active participation and experiential learning. Such initiatives are encouraged in EMRS to strengthen leadership, constitutional values, and awareness of local governance among students.

           The event commenced with a welcome address by the Principal, followed by an introduction to the significance of the Youth Gram Sabha. Students actively participated by taking up the roles of Sarpanch, Panchayat Members, Secretary, and Village Citizens, creating a realistic simulation of a Gram Sabha meeting. They discussed important community issues such as cleanliness, education, environmental conservation, water conservation, health and hygiene, digital literacy, and social responsibility.

      Students confidently presented their opinions, suggested practical solutions, and passed resolutions on various developmental issues. The interactive session encouraged critical thinking, teamwork, effective communication, and leadership skills while enhancing students' understanding of democratic decision-making.

            Teachers guided the proceedings and motivated students to become responsible, informed, and active citizens. The programme concluded with a pledge by all participants to uphold constitutional values, contribute towards community development, and actively participate in nation-building.

         The Youth Gram Sabha was highly informative and inspiring, providing students with valuable practical exposure to democratic processes and strengthening their commitment towards responsible citizenship.
