Information and Communication Technology (ICT) & Computer Education at EMRS Mangala

At Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) Mangala, our ICT department is committed to fostering digital literacy, programming skills, and a strong foundation in modern technology among our students. Computer education is introduced systematically from Class 6 to 10. For senior secondary students in Classes 11 and 12, Computer Science is offered as a core subject within the CEBA (Commerce) and PCMC (Science) streams.

Our state-of-the-art Computer Lab features 30 systems, including 10 advanced machines equipped with 13th Gen Intel Core i3 processors, 512GB SSDs, and 8GB RAM. These computers operate on Windows 11 Pro and are fully equipped with licensed Microsoft Office LTSC Professional Plus 2024, Python, and MySQL Server to support extensive practical learning. The lab is completely backed by a dual battery inverter system to ensure uninterrupted sessions.

All practical and theoretical classes are facilitated using an in-lab projector to enhance the visual learning experience. Furthermore, our esteemed faculty is continuously integrating modern technology into the curriculum. Our educators are thoroughly trained with Medha AI—an AI assistant designed specifically for teachers and implemented under the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS). By utilizing Medha AI and other AI tools, teachers are transforming classroom experiences, keeping EMRS Mangala at the forefront of digital education.
